Kannada is the
regional language of Karnataka. India is a country with different languages
depending on the states of the country. Karnataka is the biggest cosmopolitan
state among all Indian states as it is a home for people from all the other
states of the country. Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka is a hub of all
kinds of people because of being the most techno versed city.
The people of
Karnataka have an option to apply for the Aadhaar card in Kannada. An Aadhaar
card in the unique identification number issued by the Government specially
appointed board for Aadhaar card known as the Unique Identification Authority
of India (UIDAI). Aadhaar card is a card inspired by the USA security number
card. This card is issued in order to provide equal all facilities to the
residents of India with respect to health, education, jobs etc. It provides a
good identification proof as a registered resident of India will have his or
her eye scanned and finger prints in the Aadhaar records.
Eligibility
Anyone above
age one is applicable to apply for the e Adhar . However, children upto
five years of age will be linked to their parents or guardian Aadhaar card and
documents. After age five and 15, children should get a new card done as the
biometric data keep changing. The card is applicable to all the residents of
India.
Documents
required
While
submitting the application form, the applicant should also provide a few
documents as a proof of being a resident of India. The applicant should provide
a xerox copy for each of proof of identity, proof of address and proof of date
of birth. Originals should be carried during the time of the registration
process for verification. It will be handed back to the applicant immediately.
Process
of applying for Aadhaar card in Kannada
Although the
entire process of applying for the Aadhaar card cannot be done online, few of
the things can be done which can help save time and energy spent in standing in
a long queue. Below is a step by step process to download the application form
in Kannada and apply for the card.
Ø Visit the official website of the UIDAI here at www.uidai.gov.in. In the home page at the
right hand corner select the language as Kannada from the drop down menu of the
language.
Ø The website will have all the details in Kannada. Select the “site
nakshe” (site map) and then the downloads. Click on the forms. Download the
form which will be in the PDF format
Ø Fill in all the details of the application form, submit in the
nearest Aadhaar center to you.
Ø Fix an appointment to register and it can be done online as well. On
the given date and time, visit the same center to register your name for the
card.
Ø Carry all the required documents along with the originals.
Ø A photo will be taken in the center itself by the Aadhaar
registering officials and the data for biometric details also will be
collected. After getting all the details and proof documents are verified, the
applicant will be given a receipt.
